Description
Comfortable sailing anywhere you take her. Marionette’s Revenge is a CSY 44 Walk-Over located in New Bern, NC. She was entirely refitted in 2019, with new standing rigging added in 2020. CSYs are uniquely designed vessels – but those who have them settle for nothing less. With an over 13 foot beam, she is comfortable both above and below decks. Her 4 ½ foot draft gives her excellent sailing handling, while her heavy displacement at over 38,000 pounds allows her to shrug aside any seas.
Coming aboard, you immediately notice the brand new cockpit enclosure. This area extends your cruising life – keeping you warm in colder months and shaded in the summer – while giving you unrestricted views.
Going forward, you will notice that all standing rigging is run outside of the deck – giving you unhindered access. All the stays were replaced in 2021 – and the chain plates are external and in great condition.
New main sail on the way for 2025 and will be bent on the external rolling furling system. Her genoa is a 130.
Heading to the aft deck you will find the davits for the dinghy and room to enjoy the scenery.
In the cockpit, the navigation system is front and center. The engine is push start – no keys to worry about – and is controlled by a single-action throttle/shifter. The Raymarine navigation system is new within the last two years.
Heading aft from the cockpit you go down into the owner’s cabin. This cabin is huge and boasts a full QUEEN bed athwartships. This area is aptly lit with lighting and port lights all around. A wet head is on the port side with an electric commode.
Heading forward into the main cabin from the cockpit, you will see the reason why CSYs are loved by their owners. This cabin is comfortable, easily navigated in high seas, and shows off the workmanship of the CSY Boat Yard. Storage areas are situated through the cabin – and other cabins – for plenty of time at sea.
To starboard is the navigator’s station with all switches and other electronics. Open the cabinet doors and you will see a wiring schematic that is well-organized. Underneath the navigator’s table is the new freezer system that is easily removed for service. Forward of the navigator’s table is full sized bunk with plenty of storage.
The galley is on the port side with a new Eno three-burner propane stove. There is not attached oven, but the multi-function toaster oven comes with the vessel. A refrigerator slides out from underneath the stove.
The main seating area for eating is just forward of the galley with plenty of room around a folding table. The keel-stepped mast is also in this area.
Going toward the bow, the forward wet head is on the port side with a hanging closet on the starboard. The V-berth is spacious and comfortable, with access to the chain locker and maintenance.
CSYs are romantic boats. They are full of stories. Stories of their owners, and stories of the places they have been. They are boats that were designed to exacting standards and over-engineered in their builds.
Marionette’s Revenge is ready for new owners so she can help craft new stories. Give us a call today.
