Misto
The Nautitech 441/442 was named Boat of the Year by Cruising World in their January 2013 issue. Misto was built to high standards, and the design elements for a global cruiser were personally appreciated when the current owners took her on a circumnavigation with the World Arc.

Description
So what elements culminated in Cruising World naming the Nautitech 44 Boat of the Year in 2013?
- Excellent vessel for coastal or regional cruising - the features of comfort and self sufficiency certainly apply here
- Fine layout for offshore work, with numerous touches that promote safe sailing, including the abundance of handrails above and below deck and good visibility
- Long range voyaging capability with a rig set up for transoceanic adventures, such as the powerful sail plan with square-topped main and full battens
- Extremely sound structurally, very good performer under power with a twin helm set-up
“This is a French-built boat and I think the build quality may have surpassed the other boats in this group, which is saying something” said Ed Sherman, “Down below its a very quiet boat. We sailed it on a windy day with a lot going on, and yet down below there was no creaking, groaning or cracking noises whatsoever. Even under power we registered some of the lowest decibel readings for our entire fleet of boats.”

Thirty-six years of business experience taught that, above all, listening to client's needs is paramount. Selling or buying, what are your goals related to boating? Daveâs listening! Dave built his first boat as a teenager. After engineering school, he put in hundreds of hours sailing his Hobie Cat 16 on the Chesapeake Bay and off the North Carolina beaches & sounds. He learned to sail larger boats in his 20âs on the Chesapeake chartering with friends, then the Caribbean, the Med, racing on the Great Lakes & Delaware Rivers, while studying and drinking in all things nautical. Dave has owned both power and sail and has maintained, upgraded and sailed a blue water cruiser for years. Heâs a USCG Captain candidate, and currently living on the water in North Carolina, when not aboard. Put Daveâs knowledge & passion to work for you!
